I have never used that word in a sentence....ever. Doesn't bother me when other ppl use it though.

Yeah, Maddox usually finds one inane thing nobody cares about it and then rants about it.  It was funny the first few times he did it but then people realized oh, he's ranting about some inane thing I don't care about again and criticizing language, whatever and stop caring.

That point came around in 2003-2004 which is why I was surprised that he's still posting and someone bothered to actually check his site.

Who's Maddox??? I'm guessing he is/was popular on the internet, which is probably why I never heard of him.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

The word epic might be overused, but it is nothing compared to people online saying the word "Pro".

Fucking hate that word now.

How about instead of Epic... we use Bee's Knees :P

I have some fiction for a character born in the early 1900 who would effectively use 1920's slang.  Epic translation would be Bee's Knees. It's amazing to know that some of the slang we use today is really old and some of it is just cool others it's amazing to see how the meaning has changed.(http://local.aaca.org/bntc/slang/slang.htm)

Though I'm up for reducing the use of Epic. Actually couldn't Epic Micky and Yarn go for

Kirby Bee's Knees Yarn?
Coolsville Micky?
Epicville Micky?

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

Maddox is epic, even bought his book, The Alphabet of Manliness. Such a laugh of a read.

Maddox is pretty funny when you're 13.

Well my work day the past 2 days has been epic.  My playthrough of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was epic.  Most of my Halo, CoD, and Battlefield matches are epic... especially the ones I own in.  Most of my college exams are epic.  And of course a few things I do in life are pretty epic.

But I do use the word epic a good bit haha.  But I'll continue to say it because it would take someone pretty epic to tell me to stop using it, which I doubt the guy who wrote that actually is.

Sh**heads are Epic!

Yarn is Epic and If I was you I would not disagree with Kirby.

I've never ever used that word except when naming games that involve it, but that's about it.
