That's what I thought too, then I figured out that Wii Sports had 60 million sales

Perhaps this time next year Platformers will be higher than Racers. A few possbile big ones have come out along with another next week. But then again GT5 just came out and was it Need for Speed? So who knows

I've heard good things about puzzle games, especially tetris (PTSD) and crossword puzzles
I've heard good things about sim games, especially Brain Age
I've heard that FSPers may help with reaction time or something

FPS and Shooters are really the same. Bear in mind the "S" in "FPS" is shooter. Also, VGChartz doesn't label every shooter as a shooter. Many fall into other genres.
Lets just say shooters are extremely popular and leave it to that.
