I'd stick with it: between the Boss Rush mode, the better graphics (and music, in my opinion, although your mileage may vary), and the ability to use a controller I thought it was worth spending the money on the WiiWare version. Plus, it's a gift! But the ultimate choice is, of course, up to you.

Ah. In that case, the answer is "yes." But I'm not sure how long Nintendo takes to return the points (it shouldn't be more than a few hours, though).

Edit: Oops, behind the ball here. I'll pass the word on to Santa, though.
