Then why do you expect it to only sell about 60% more than its first week (assuming it sells about 2.5 million first week) for the rest of the year? Sony expects sales to triple in Spain by the end of the year.

I expect it to be @ at the very least 4 million. I didn't say it will only sell 4 million.

Looks like Crystalchild's 1.05 Million prediction is for sure gonna be passed

To be fair there are 1 or two obscenely high predictions too.

Slighty off for my EMEAA prediction. Although, I can't see GT5 dipping below 300,000 weekly in EMEAA during the holiday season. And someone said something about the advertising ramping up. I also think that is the case. While I was watching Court Surfing yesterday, I've seen two GT5 ads.



Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

EMEAA Sales are for GT5 are 1.17 Million....in week 1

As a site we predicted 1.32 Million as the average!

I got 1.35 so I'm meh...not too bad.

The people who were closest were.... Boutros, Hiko, VXIII, Acevil, oldschoolfool, zgamer, kopstudent & tombi123

NSMB Wii 54th week in America 450 000

 

It's a decent start but nowhere near the absolute killer app that people were saying. The 5 years of waiting really hurt the game. But fortunately, Europe will lift it to high numbers.

World Wide Sales are for GT5 are 2.07 Million....in week 1

As a site we predicted 2.64 Million as the average!

Taking a 10% margin of error....2.376 Million Low End....2.904 million High End

Like it or not the game HAS underperformed compared to expectations....not by that much though!
