I'm in two minds about this.

On one side, I'm fully aware that people will be overly-critical due to extraordinarily high expectations and, for a minority, a real desire for the game to fail (either conscious or unconscious -- it has been a bloody long time in coming, after all).

On the other, I think to GT on the PSP, and exactly what it failed to do correctly.

We'll know tomorrow, I suppose, when the flood gates open.

What do people with the game think of this review?

Whha GT has never been about "Great Physics"...Remember playing dodgems around the inside of every tight bend when the races were tough.

GT is about rising above its imperfections and what it aspires to be, more than what it actually is.

Anyhoo I'm going to wait for all the reviews to be in.

I've heard all sorts of comments flying around from "It's a Jagfest" to "The most beautiful console game ever".

Its what you make of it that counts.

Well, with my experience with other GT games, I think people try comparing the graphics to the games like Need for Speed, where they can't be compared to that, because they don't want to look like that.  With the videos I've seen, it seems the norm that the racing itself is pretty sweet but off to the sides really is very unimpressive.



Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Yes, I forget to mention graphics aren't really what this game aims for, I personally bought it for the experience and the fact I'm driving a VW Samba on the top gear track right now means this game wins.

Never been about great physics??? Are you serious?  Gran Turismo has like everything perfected to make it so even the slightest changes to a car will make it handle exactly how that car would handle in real life.
