I also think these critics are being extremely picky about literally everything in this game just because the expectations were so high.  These same problems in a call of duty game (once again, I don't care, I'm not even getting the game) likely result in all 17's and 18's or higher with an overall rating of 18 or 19.

In my opinion, the in race graphics aren't zOmG!!!1121211 great it's kinda...okayish in my opinion.

Well, with my experience with other GT games, I think people try comparing the graphics to the games like Need for Speed, where they can't be compared to that, because they don't want to look like that.  With the videos I've seen, it seems the norm that the racing itself is pretty sweet but off to the sides really is very unimpressive.

Yes, I forget to mention graphics aren't really what this game aims for, I personally bought it for the experience and the fact I'm driving a VW Samba on the top gear track right now means this game wins.
