actually, online is still down for maintainance, though I only bought the game because I'm a big fan of GTmode (I suck at racing games to be honest.)

Yeah, online servers will be open starting from midnight today. GT Life will be my main mode of gaming in GT5 as well, but I'm willing to give the online a try, especially if the damage model is incorporated into it, to avoid the staggering amount of cheaters and bumpers that were an annoyance in GT5:P's online.

Damn I'm jealous, pre ordered GT5 from blockbusters for £32.99 inc discount, they sent me an email saying it has been dispatched today, so I'll probably have to wait until Thursday.

No matter, I have a steering wheel and will be able to beat half of players online using lttle to no skill.

I win :D

What wheel did you get for it? I got a DFGT and been preparing for GT5 with Prologue. It really amazed me how easy I can gold every event up to S class in very few tries, on Pro physics.
