A total of 5 Wii games had a weekly change of ~20k or plus.
Not too shabby.

It's lower than I expected, but I also know GT isn't a frontloaded type of franchise. What amazes me is how much that fact is ignored. |
i know its not frontloaded but if its fw in na its 400k. its not going to be hard for it to reach 2.5 million.
and cgi check out the official gt5 thread theirs a new vid.
Being in 3rd place never felt so good
it's not frontloaded but nonetheless i find very strange 20k in its final week. I don't know if numbers are off, the game sales have strange behaviour or the game is going to sell less than i expected in usa
600k first week is what im expecting but not sure if it can achieve this with 280k preorders

not surprise at all as US region were conquer by 360 fans, not much loyal PS3 fans were left in US for this gen...
I really wouldn't worry about GT5 just yet.
Its a franchise that has a lot of casual appeal, we could see lots of on the day sales for the game, also this is a legsy game. Last but not least its Black Friday week!!
We have full GT4 sales data so we will be able to keep a full track of how GT5 will be doing
GT4 Week 1 in NA was around 770K.....if GT5 gets within 200K of that we can hope for it to make up the defecit as GT5 is on a younger console not at mass market price.

I enjoy having the pre-order feature here at VGChartz, but it makes some of you guys a bit silly...
GT5 will do fine (it's very weird saying this lol).
As for Epic Mickey and DKCR... awesome pre-orders. Wii fans sure love to pre-order games right before the games release lol.
God of war 3 opened to about 820k in america with 480k preorders
If GT followed this trend its opening will be around 500k
I think its pretty obvious it will have a bigger week 1 to preorder ratio than GoW did
So maybe 600k first week, maybe less, maybe more

Time for hype
