Not really, or at least if you're offended they can see that than you should be offended that people can see a womans feet when they're are crazy foot fetish people out there.
People need to learn not to be so testy.
And, again, if they don't like it, nobody is forcing them to fly.
-edit-
Note, I flew to Vegas last weekend and had absolutely no problems security wise. DFW was the breeze it usually is and even the Vegas airport was fairly easy.

My junk is my junk. In addition it can easily detect prosthetic testicles, fake boobs, and a few other decidedly private issues that raise zero security threats. This is the same technology that is used for virtual strip searches keep in mind. There are better, less invasive methods being used successfully for decades.
NB: As a private citizen I get to draw the line on how invasive too invasive is for a random search by government employees. They are ultimately accountable to you, me, and everyone who can be bothered to vote rationally. Knowing rough size is not an unreasonable line either.

wow do not care for privacy much? what happens when this gets applied to more areas? Using a public bus body scan, going to the DMV body scan, going to the post office body scan, going to court body scan, going to any government building body scan. I mean they are all potential terroist targets that people must use and could get hurt at. How about they think of smarter ways to accomplish the same thing. Israel doesn't force its people through these etreme measures do they? There must be better ways
I wonder if they make bumper stickers or t-shirts saying "if you touch my junk, i'll have you arrested."
Might be fun to be a little off-putting to the TSA folks
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Do I care about privacy? Sure, but there are times I see something as necessary or just not caring.
The person who scans you probably sees thousands of people a day, do you really think they care? And even if they do care, why should you care? Just ignore it and get on with it. It's not a huge deal. Everyone has issues and a lot of people have body issues (me included, I got a big belly!) but just think of some things as necessary evils. It's not nearly as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.
And one more time, there's a beyond simple solution if you don't like it: don't fly.

The thing with planes is that when they go down they generally kill everybody on board, they're pretty much unique like that. Also they have the ability to be used as pretty terrifying weapons as 9/11 showed.
Also I unfortunately do not know of any better way to accomplish what these machines do. Perhaps the machine being unmanned and searching for anomalies using algorithms and only calling in an attendent if something is flagged?
To quote Benjamin Franklin:
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
That pretty much sums up how I feel about it. The way we've allowed ourselves to be invaded in the post-9/11 world is sickening.

and again, why can't we learn from others in worst situations with better solutions. ie israel. why go the hardest route that takes the longest. I do not fly so it does not and will not directly effect me. But it is just another examlpe of the government overstepping its grounds and in an unthought and unproductive way. all the baby steps to 1984. Heck almost all crime could be stopped if there were cameras in very room of every home so why not do that for safeties sake?
