Killzone 3, Twisted Metal, GT5, Resistance 3.... No I'll still be buying games for a long while.

PSP Yes - well I still need to buy valkyria chronicles 2  (and If there's a 3rd one) but I found that the PSP games I bought are so long vs. the time I have to spend playing it, that I just won't have the time to play any new games for it.

Wii  is finished. - Pretty much new super mario bros., wii fit plus and DS Extraction cover my Wii gaming needs for good.

PS3 - Nowhere close to being finished.

I'm not buying much because I still have some backlog, but there is already Catherine, The Last Story and Rune Factory: Oceans for me early next year.

If anything, early in this gen I had fewer games to buy and play.

Not really but i buy less games for ps3 and pc since i realised i don't have time for mediocry titles or to play stuff just for trophies and sine i have insane backlog already i almost never get games at release price.

I'm systematically buying games for psp but systematically here means one every 2 months ;) Not suprising considering most of them are insanly long rpgs.

I also dropped my plans to buy x360/wii/ds since i don't have time to play what i already have.

But to keep things in perspective even scalled down buying means i'm getting 10-20 games per year instead of 20-40 ;)

And I'm definitly not stopping in next year too: Shogun2, Witcher , Valkyria 3, Yakuza 4, Catherine are must have titles for me.

Nope.  Probably just the opposite, think I bought the most number of games this year than in previous years.  Though I don't know about next year, only thing on my radar thus far is LBP2

I still name about 15 games for DS and about 10 for Wii and PS3 that I wish to buy.  I'm going to buy many games from previous generations.

Then when the next gen starts early next year, there is going to be quite a few 3DS games I'm going to buy

I bought 2 games back in january, sold one of them to get some cash so I could buy 1 more in May.  Thats been it for me this whole year.

I've been playing some of my older games I've neglected and haven't finished. It further confirms my belief from before about not really needing or desiring any new game console games. I've noticed I haven't even been paying much attention to new games either outside of World of Warcraft.

I know I'm getting Epic Mickey and Sonic Colors as gifts. Really Epic Mickey was the last current game I was interested in and ToysRUs had a deal with you get a second game half off so I picked Sonic from the list. Even then I'm not the one buying them. So there is no telling if I'd actually have picked up Epic Mickey myself.  I check my Amazon.com cart and removed all games I had sitting in there save for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I'm taking a pass on Halo 3. Was thinking of Mass Effect two since it was really cheap now but even that ended up being passed over. After playing more of Fable 3 (and finishing it) I don't think I'd be to bothered if I took a pass on Fable 4 in the end.

So in the end as before Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, The Last Story, and Xenoblade are the only console games I'm looking forward to.  Then it's 3DS and PC which is where my time has been recently anyway (DSi instead of 3DS I mean).

Not really, I buy the games dirt cheap on Play.com when they launch as Platinum titles. I think I have 17 games for the PS3 now, I'll probably be getting 10 more or so, I always buy too many games for my consoles, my games collection would suggets as much...
