Imageepoch Ready To Reveal Tale Of The Last Promise?

By Spencer . November 19, 2010 . 10:18am

Next week, Imageepoch will reveal a lineup of games. The developer of Luminous Arc and Last Ranker will show eight titles at a press conference.

One of them is probably Black Rock Shooter. Another might be Tale of the Last Promise. While unannounced, Imageepoch filed a trademark for Tale of the Last Promise in Japan.

The title certainly has a RPG ring to it, which shouldn’t be too surprising. Imageepoch is gung ho about developing JRPGs.

Imageepoch To Announce Eight Games On November 24th

By Ishaan . November 17, 2010 . 11:01am

Earlier today, Imageepoch teased an upcoming RPG they have in development for unspecified platforms, with the teaser video hinting that the project might appeal to those currently dissatisfied with the Japanese RPG genre.

This game — commonly believed to be an RPG based on the Black Rock Shooter anime movie — is set to be announced on November 24th, which is when Imageepoch will be holding the press conference their CEO announced at the end of last month.

The news comes via 4Gamer, who confirm our suspicions that Imageepoch are all set to turn publisher, as opposed to just being a contract-based developer.

At the November 24th conference, Imageepoch will show off no less than eight different projects, spanning across consumer games, PC games, games for smartphones and online/social games, all planned for release in 2011.

In the past, Imageepoch once told us they were experimenting with a Mario Galaxy type game and a Resident Evil type game.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I enjoyed the Luminous Arc games.  Too bad Atlus decided not to localize the third entry.  Maybe they'll announce a console  SRPG.

I hope it is something neat, and not Japanese exclusive.

I think Capcom USA's done with PSP.  Last Ranker, MonHun Village and MHP3 are all mia, and RE PSP probably got canned in favor of 3DS releases.

This is their imageepoch's chance to finally develop something good! I mean, all eight games can't be bad...can they..?

Sands of Destruction was an amazing anime based game based on a fantastic series.  This makes me VERY excited for the Black Rock Shooter anime "rumored" RPG.   Black Rock Shooter was awesome.
