I believe that the Wii will be #1 again in Holiday 2010. I think a major factor in this is that it is the only home system that has big support in all 3 regions...America, Others, and Japan.

America: It is obvious that 360 and Wii are more popular than PS3 in America for some unknown reason. Now that Kinect is out I expect 360 to be comfortably ahead of PS3 in America for Holiday 2010. Wii is already ahead of PS3 in America and outsold it by 26K last week without the Red Wii and other major game releases. Even with GT5 I don't see PS3 keeping up with 360 or Wii in America this Holiday.

Others: Kinect released in Others this week only to be outsold by PS3 by 4K...If PS3 can outsell 360 without GT5 even with Kinect out I don't see how it can outsell it in the future. Wii only sold 19K behind 360 this week and still has plenty of big games yet to come planned for release Holiday 2010 and as we all know Nintendo products always get the biggest boost as we get closer to the Holidays even more so when it comes to the Wii and DS. Both Wii and PS3 should be able to outsell 360 by a good amount in Others this Holiday.

Japan: PS3 and Wii both have potential to do good in Japan Holiday 2010 and neither of them have an automatic victory. PS3 has GT5 left while Wii has Donkey Kong...yeah PS3 has been over Wii for most of this year but as of recent reports the Red Wii is a big success in Japan and could help the Wii take the lead. I don't feel like I have to explain why PS3 and Wii should dominate 360 in Japan.

Overall, PS3 is looking good in Others and Japan, 360 is looking good in America, and Wii is looking good in all 3 regions which is why I believe Wii will take #1 again this Holiday.

I never said it was a wild prediction and most people on here according to some threads think that Wii could be last this Holiday.

Just wishful thinking, normally from a certain group who sometimes end up right and so think god gave them the magical gift of being able to tell the future.

It is kind of sad, that these same people are often credited by a decent crowd as gods for having one prediction right over so many failures.

I think that's what he think for USA, which its reasonable.

What's sad is their complete and utter lack of humbleness and humility. If they're ever wrong they scuttle away until the dust rolls over, and if they're right boy do they let you know. Incredibly immature, and we get the whole "oh this is just how I am on the internet" BS, they're like that IRL and come across as fratboy jerks.

I agree. I wanted to see the effect of kinect on 360 hardware first, but it doesn't look like it's going to surpass the Wii this holiday.

I'll also like to add that BHR is one hell of a predictor. Definitely served his fair share of crow.

i hate those who are fratboy jerks as well, besides doing what was mentioned above they also make a bunch of stat threads about how good there console of choice is doing, and then when they find out there console was not doing as good as they once thought it was they just outright abandon the thread
