I did NOT expect the Wii Game of the Year to be completely Nintendo.

I am very happy to see that Spike has aquired a time machine. Good job!

I'm glad you "listened" to the soundtrack to Reach. Have you played the game? Have you played the campaign all the way through? The soundtrack of Reach and every other Halo game is actually relevent to the game and provides an emotional response to the player. Its an integral part of the game. You don't even notice the music in God of War. I don't even know how a sane person can even compare the two. I have both games btw and I've beaten both. Go do some research on Marty O'Donnel and come back to me and tell me with a straight face that GOW has a better soundtrack. It may be your opinion but its the opinion of a very few. Nobody even knows the name of the composer of the GOW soundtrack. And posting it after looking it up on wiki doesn't prove anything.

Edit: Not obsessed with Reach at all. I just know that the Halo series has some of the best soundtracks in video game history. Right up there with some of the Final Fantasies. And I agree Lords of Shadow had an awesome soundtrack.

Speak for yourself.

And what does the composer have to do with anything? As long as you enjoy the music it doesn't matter who composed it.

wow what a shit hole list

Best Performance by a Human Male

- Daniel Craig as James Bond

if they are talking about that piece of shit game called bloodstone and not golden eye i will be shocked.. actually no. knowing these people its not a shocker

This is an astuondingly bad list

No Pripyat

No Nintendo AT ALL

No Gran Turismo

No starcraft GOTY candidate

Thats the VGAs for ya. I remember the first one 7 years ago. there was virtualy NO acknowlegdement of Nintendo; which is why it bombed. Never the less, I still watch them for my amusment on how grotesque their award show is.

I know you're obsessed with God of War anything but the music from it doesn't even touch any of the Halos let alone Halo:Reach.

I know you are obsessed with reach but I have to agree with him, GOW soundtrack is way better than Reach (yeah I actually listened to it) and the franchise of GOW in general has been very impressive in brining some great soundtracks to the table...all of which I think are way better than that of Halo's.

but then again it's opinion, nothing more nothing less...

oh and btw I thought Lord of Shadows soundtrack was pretty badass tbh

That made me burst out with laughter....sheer gold man...sheer gold.

The soundtrack of GoW has always been a major part of the series. You know, its opinion - you may think that Reach has a better soundtrack...but denying that GoW has an epic soundtrack is simply false.

Underlined - Thats because there a 5 of them

Cris Velasco, Gerard Mario, Ron Fin, Jeff Rona and Mike Reagan.

They may be not as popular, but that still doesn't make them suck.

I don't know about you, but the soundtrack before the boss battles always gets me pumped. They amplify the awesomeness of it all....

And they all have this unique feel to it too....Theres something about them that SCREAMS God of War.

@wagram:

That's one massively epic fail!

Wow...I'm hoping real hard that the team behind the nominees isn't the same as the team who made the website. Or else that's a huge fail.
