Sounds like 360 and PS3 can both do 250k. Nice

Not last week though. |
Mario bundle came out last week, and as stated the article said monthly, so VGchartz doesn't seem in the wrong here.

Who knows
Ok when ioi says it's close between PS3 and 360, does he mean EMEAA or WW?

I'm just truely impressed by the Xbox 360 sales in UK. Three very strong systems in that area this generation (DS, Wii and Xbox 360).

great sales nice turn around
but as psrock said this was expected, for me even months in advance
the 360 will no doubt beat the PS3 for this week by at least 60k WW and easily achieve sales of over 400K
but i believe that it wont last, it has beaten it on kenict US launch, COD launch/kenict EU launch, and it will even beat it the week after, but once BF week hits i expect PS3 to take the sales wins back and outsell it by at least 300k WW for BF week and continue to have weekly victories against it for the remainder of the year

Just as a point of rerefence, even if the three current consoles are over 400k this week, the three systems sold 1,385,000 units in the week ending Nov 14 2009 (with Wii and PS3 at higher prices). So even 1,250,000 would be a big drop. In 2008, the three systems sold 1,238,000 for the week ending Nov 15, 2008.
PS3 & X360 will need to top 845,000 this week for the HD-Console HW market to be up over 2009 levels. That is doable but still a tall task.

Cod: MW2 doubled x360 sales last year in the whole Europe, so I find (very) hard to believe that this spike is due to Kinect and not to COD: BO.
