If I have a company and it sold 1.3 million I said "over 1.3 million" and not "over 1 million". Microsoft loves to inflate their numbers why this time would be different.

Found me a company that says 1.3 in numbers. You dont here call of duty saying we sold 7.1 million. No they say 7 million its the same thing. I doubt they sold exactly 7 million in the first day or week or whatever it was.

Who knows, but its already different because they are reporting sell thru numbers.
Why am I even bothering to explain this to you? The facts are there but you clearly pay no attention to them, you just spin everything postivie about xbox into a negative. I bet by the end of the year you're gonna be saying that all the Kinect console bundles sold to existing 360 owners who had RROD or some BS like that.

To be fair Ethomaz, they do mention "More than 1 million", that would imply in a range between 1-1.5m, they probably said more than a million to be on the safe side, encase any trackers would appear to be tracking more, just as the case with vgc.

Has microsft ever given number not rounded off in a press release? If microsoft tracked, eg, 1.1mln, vgchartz overtracked by 18%. Normal error is 10% it's not that far off.
More importantly kinect is selling out, right now how much they will ship they will sell. They know that, probably that is the reason they said "more than 1mln sold to consumer" .
To the people that keep comparing with move, sony never gave any number for the move controllers sold to consumer. Maybe they can't because as we know move hasn't sold out. Not even in the saudi arabia, that usually are accounted for a big chunk of what people call "sony supremacy in europe", yes we all know saudi arabia is part of europe :) If I'm not mistaken they didn't even detailed if in the shipped figure move 1st controller, move camera and move 2nd controller were counted separately.
