Has microsft ever given number not rounded off in a press release? If microsoft tracked, eg, 1.1mln, vgchartz overtracked by 18%. Normal error is 10% it's not that far off.

More importantly kinect is selling out, right now how much they will ship they will sell. They know that, probably that is the reason they said "more than 1mln sold to consumer" .

To the people that keep comparing with move, sony never gave any number for the move controllers sold to consumer. Maybe they can't because as we know move hasn't sold out. Not even in the saudi arabia, that usually are accounted for a big chunk of what people call "sony supremacy in europe", yes we all know saudi arabia is part of europe :) If I'm not mistaken they didn't even detailed if in the shipped figure move 1st controller, move camera and move 2nd controller were counted separately.
