It says sold not shipped.

Sold to retail = shipped... Microsoft "sold" is always "to retail".

Anyway 1.3m > 1.0m.

they said more than one million and more than one million can equal 1.3 million. If you dont realise this you should go back to primary school

If I have a company and it sold 1.3 million I said "over 1.3 million" and not "over 1 million". Microsoft loves to inflate their numbers why this time would be different.

Who knows, but its already different because they are reporting sell thru numbers.

Why am I even bothering to explain this to you? The facts are there but you clearly pay no attention to them, you just spin everything postivie about xbox into a negative. I bet by the end of the year you're gonna be saying that all the  Kinect console bundles sold to existing 360 owners who had RROD or some BS like that.
