What's worse a partial truth or the whole lie? Choose carefully -.- Then why would you need this?

I don't need that, that's exactly the point. I didn't need that to get on the internet, stop lying.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess he doesn't realize that 720P is HD. Most of the PS3 games were running in this same resolution. Microsoft eventually upgrade the 360 to do 1080HD with software and then eventually native as well. You didn't need Wireless Wi-Fi to get on Xbox Live. It has a port for a ethernet cable. So yes, it was internet capable right out of the box. Always was. Microsoft address the RROD issue just a few months after it started happening. Several of the games for Kinect are worth the purchase. Sony had to rush an enable OLDER PS3 games with MOVE support because they realized that almost ALL of their MOVE Launch titles were crap. Only SportChampions and EyePet were worth a look. Anyone play the incredibly awful Lights Out and Kung Fu Riders? Many of the other games have serious bad lag like Time Crisis. Microsoft does plan to add Kinect support to some of their games like Forza 3 and Fable III. They aren't going to rush it out the door those. It'll get done right.

I think he's talking about the original models, which lacked an HDMI port, so they could only display up to 1080i (as opposed to 1080p) through component cable. As far as online, he's talking about Wi-Fi, since all models before the new 360 model lacked Wi-Fi. You had to purchase a seperate adapter, or run an ethernet cable to your 360. |
I was being sarcastic, I knew exactlty what he was talking about, and calling him out for his misinformation. 1080i is still HD, even if not "full" HD, and it could do 720p as well. Saying that it lacks wi-fi is not the same as saying it's not internet capable...

OR you could just use the standard ethernet port that is included on all 360's. WOW imagine that.

There are plenty defending Kinect on this site, I don't feel the need to defend all the time, only when I find the topic interesting.
Post /= voices, what are you on? like I said , several posts with the "as expected" from Sony fans. I'll be however I want about it, I calmly asked M.U.G.E.N and you were the one to blow it out of proportion.
I guess some people don't realize you do NOT need a Wi-Fi connection to get the Xbox 360 on the internet. There are these things called wires, and you can plug an "Ethernet Wire" into the back of the 360 and still get on the internet. The "Ethernet Wire" also plugs into a thing called a "Broadband Modem" or a "Router" with with "Internet" connection. With this you can play on a service called "Xbox Live" that costs you some "Money".
As for the "Dongle" you can do whatever you feel like with it, I don't care.

"There are plenty defending Kinect on this site"
Not defending, the people talking have actually used Kinect, or own it. The problem with the gaming crowd these days, is people who never played a game or used a released piece of hardware giving a negative opinion on it. I haven't used move, so I sure as hell am not going to comment on it, or it's games.

Well, that's the point. You DON'T NEED THAT to get online with XBox Live. All you need is a ethernet cable. Just plug if from your cable modem into your Xbox 360 and you're good to go. Having a wireless adapter isn't required. I think that's the point you are missing. I believe the PS3 had a ethernet port as well. Not every has Wifi or needs it. It's not partial lie, it's a TOTAL LIE when you said, ""to get it on the internet you needed to buy a proprietary dongle that would run your $100 extra dollars". No DONGLE (actually it's called a Wifi Network Adapter) is needed. Period!
