Said lol.
Trust me. Ignore any review he does. He's an arsehole. Sonic Colors is getting great reviews across the board... Destructoid just wants hits, so they let Jim Sterling give low reviews to good/great/excellent games. Not to be taken seriously at all.

Normally I take his reviews with a pinch of salt, but like someone above you said; when it sticks out like this it's just a cry for attention

Whilst DS version isn't bad, it feels a bit...stale IMO.
Also, some of the points in the DS version are minus points for the Wii version!
I'd give Sonic DS a 7.5, and the Wii version now 9.4
how the HELL did I guess that it was Jim Sterling before even hitting the link? This guy traded in his credibility the second he had to apologize for slandering a DeviantArt member.
i'm enjoying this game and i dont see any of his points valid, no i am not a current sonic fan i am a returning fan that hated the series for 15 years... but this game got me back loving the series

Ok, seriously-- why do we keep posting Destructoid reviews? They're consistently terrible and badly thought out, among other things.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
Considering that this game has a metascore around 78 -- and no other review less than 60 -- this review just seems to be a bit from left field.
It makes you wonder if this person is playing the right build or if this person's controller needed batteries or if this person has an axe to grind.
