Black ops is better because it sold more./s

well, i personaly think bo is better than reach because it has a more organised and funner online

single player is enjoyable too unlike reach's campain

games like mw2,gt5 and even red dead have more people online than reach

but no dought if bo never came out reach and gt5 would have a lot better sales!

There is no skill gap in Reach, Noobs are rewarded with the melee, armor lock, shotgun, and needler. It's become more about luck than skill.

It's no fun being destroyed by noobs, skilled people I don't mind at all, but noobs, that just pisses me off.

It's got plenty of lag.

The ranking system is worthless since it just rewards people who have no life, and is not indicative of skill level.

the challenges are a stroke of geniouse though.

I haven't plaid black ops yet, so  Iwon't comment on it, but suffice to say, Bungie has shit on their franchise by making it more COD-like than the latest COD game (from what I hear black ops is less noob friendly than it's predicessors, and less noob friendly that Reach).

Mind you, this is coming from a guy who is a Halo FREAK, and almost exclusively plays REACH, Halo 3 was better in that it wasn't as noob friendly, I do like some of the armor abilities, and I LOVE the DMR, but I wish it had lead-on like the BR did.

Black Ops is really not noob friendly, I am veteran of the COD series and had trouble maintaining 1 KDR throughout the first several games up until I got better guns, around level 14 when I unlocked Famas and level 17 when I unlocked AK 74-u, after that it's reasonably easy to maintain 1-1.5 KDR but considerably more harder to get higher killstreaks than on MW2, I am talking like Blackbird, Chopper gunner and Dogs. I was somewhere along the lines of 45-18 and never had a single killstreak because I was on 8,9,11. Pretty good challenge imho.

From a single player stand point, Reach is slightly better than Black Ops. The visuals and soundtrack are the things that really make Reach good, everything else just makes it feel like Halo, which is fine, but for someone who's not a Halo fan, it isn't that mindblowing. The plot was pretty much non existent and what was left of it was just random and dissapppointing. 

Certain parts of the Black Ops campaign absolutely destroys Reach, but then it'll have a chapter that's just boring and poorly designed (Vietnam rampage). The visuals are decent, but kind of generic and the soundtrack can go from making me feel like a badass, to just being so dull that I'll have to switch on my I-Pod. The plot, though sometimes silly, is much better than what Reach had to offer and I'll admit to liking the characters (everyone besides the main) much more than Reach's characters. 

I was never much of a COD or Halo fan, but these two new titles have brought me on to the bandwagon and I'm looking forward to the sequels.

Halo franchise is not milked to death like Call of Duty franchise. That is my reason for it being better. That and the fact that I dig the Halo lore. CoD:BO was fun but it just felt like the same old same old. They need to give the franchise a rest for crying out loud.

Just have to point out that RDR does not have more people online and never has....can't say anything about GT5 having more then Halo Reach but I doubt it does TBH.

well ur probably right about red dead but mw2 on xbox has 150k players right now and gt5 has a bit more than double that. The max i've seen with for reach is 150k-200k after christmas and i'm guessing the ps3 version of mw2 should have more than 200k as i don't play the ps3 version anymore cause of all the hackers!

Wait what, PS3 MW2 version has more players than X360?
