2011 is a tad early I think, maybe late 2012 to earl 2013,  Wii has sold over 35M in USA so it's just shy of 10M to go.

ok guys let us all go out and buy an extra Wii so they can reach that 45m units in America! 

45 mill may be a tad high but it could be possible. We´ll just have to wait and see, but I don´t think they´ll keep it if its sales are too down next year.

when wii hits 45M in USA they will be at like 96M WW.

We just need to find a billionaire to buy them out and run this through quick ;)

So third parties should rush out ports of hit games from last gen and this gen, so that sales for the Wii will pick up based on having an even better libarary, and those games can come out in less than a year. The only way they can make the Wii go away is to give it the support they've been holding back.

Sounds to me that the new one is complete, atleast in concept. Now they just need an excuse to flesh it out.
