IT ONLY DOES 33 REPEATED CARS!

Kidding! I'm very excited for GT5. But I think that PD will have to invest more in GT6 to make more content(cars and tracks) in less time. Forza is approaching...Go Gran Turismo!

I know you were kidding, but those are all different cars...

Well, this is no surprise that some will be disappointed with a racing sim. It's nearly impossible to please all car/racing fans.

They are all different.
Theres atleast 1 thing different in each of them, thus they are different cars.

  • S Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car
  • S Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car
  • In response to ConnorJPC.... whats the difference between these two cars? Should they be considered different?  As much as I love Gran Turismo [and I have owned every single GT game] I'm tired of 50 Skylines, 30 Miatas, 30 RX-7s, why can't they give me 1 Ferrari F50, 1 Lamborghini Reventon, and 1 Koenigsegg CCX?

Wow all those cars...and I still can't find some of the cars I'd like to see.

1991 -1995 Dodge Stealth TT??? Yhaa I know 3000GT  is there but really??? I owned one and would love to drive that. (Forza had it)

1994 - 1998 Ford Mustang??? Again...I had a 1995 GT Mustang...no such car here. I know that the car was shit(I drove it) but still, its a sports coupe.

While we are on topic of Mustangs...Saleen Mustang? 2005-2011 Shelby mustang(500 hp)? These are highest selling performance cars in America.

Hell where is the 2011 Mustang GT? Its apparently able to keep up with an M3 on a track... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOwSPccbzl4

The list of cars is really impressive but its kinda obvious that these guys probably aren't fans of American cars.

Thats probably because most American cars are really bad, and are just known for their power.

They are not bad at all, but that doesn't matter.

Shitload of people buys American sports cars and would probably love to play with them in the "official" racing game of this generation... And people ask why GT series isn't as popular in America...

See, that's why you people are such idiots. You don't know anything about cars to say that. But I am not saying I want more crappy Mustangs, infact those can stay the hell out of the game. We already are getting a few and that is enough. Some Amaerica supercars aren't even in the game, not even their companies represented by one single model. These supercars are some of the best cars today, that destroy most Ferrari's, Lambo's, Lotus', Aston's and so forth. All cause you only know one spectrum of car engineering doesn't mean you should be ignorant. Yes, American cars are known for "power", but it's your fault for that, not ours. Perhaps pick up a issue of Car and Driver some day Mr. Oblivious and stop day dreaming with your uninformed hatred. Don't generalize please.

I've been in the automotive industry for years (performance mostly), and I can tell you that as far as production cars go, the only cars that can keep up with the Ferraris, Lambos, Lotus', Astons and so forth are pretty much all included in the game. The only other ones that aren't really are not production cars. Either that or they were built for purely straight line performance and wouldn't do well anywhere else.

I'm not bashing american cars, I have 4 of them sitting outside. I'm just saying that most of our automakers put the most potent engine they can in a car with the worst suspension and power/weight ratios. Of course they can all easily be upgraded for potency, but they generally don't come that way from the factory.

Oh and the standard and premium list is a bit screwed. I noticed 12 cars on that list that are listed as standard when they are actually premium. I also noticed 6 cars listed as premium when they are actually standard.

    Yes, they should.
Go find some information about them, or even look up them on google images, you will see a clear difference.
So, before you call me out, do your research.

I'm sure there would be lots of good american sports cars, but none of them are recognized/mainstream, so i wouldn't really know about them.

And remember, to be a sports car, it has to be able to go around a corner, which is what most american cars struggle at.
