amare is provin everyone who said he needed steve nash wrong....if he keeps this up he should be in heavy mvp consideration

So... I happen to look up NBA.com for the latest scores and see LAC: 86 LAL: 85 with 3 seconds to go.

An update later and it's LAL on top by a point.

Who hit the winning shot?

EDIT: Fisher with .01 seconds left. Of course it's Fisher. *laughs*

WTH is going on with the Lakers? 3 losses in a row now -_- i know its nothing to worry about but it just sucks that these last 2 losses were to crappy teams.

The fact that you think Memphis and Indiana suck proves how arrogant Lakers' fans can be.

What??? thats bullshit, so if a laker fan calls a team "suck" its  Arrogant but when the other team does the same thing like the Celtics for e.g. its ok? every team fanbase does it. so what you said proves nothing

Notice how no other fan in this thread has given me reason to bring it up? Notice the "can be" at the end of my sentence? I've lived in LA for all but the last month and a half of my life so I'm quite familiar with the Lakers fan base. A great many of them are loud, arrogant, and try to take ownership of the franchise's success which kind of grinds my gears a bit.

Should I have added "some" to that sentence instead of just using "can be"? Yes, however I would have said the same to any Boston, Orlando, Miami, Utah, ect. fan that completely disregards the growth and potential of growing teams joining the NBA's playoff picture. Coming from LA I was just disappointed and unsurprised it was a Laker fan :(

Funny how i just so happened to make a thread about what grinds peoples gears a couple days ago xD

Look at what Byron Scott, Cleveland head coach, said about Derrick Rose:

"I think he can be a Hall of Famer," Scott said before Wednesday's game. "I don't know if he'll be considered one of the greatest that ever played the game because you've got so many guys [like] Magic [Johnson] and John Stockton, Isiah [Thomas], Tiny Archibald and all these guys. But he's got a great chance to be a Hall of Famer if he stays healthy, number one, and if he continues to improve on his game. He's just a helluva basketball player ... I enjoyed watching when he was at Memphis, I enjoy watching him now as a pro. It seems each year that he has gotten better and that's the sign of a guy that's a professional and works at his craft."

yup derrick rose will win mvp this year if he keeps playing the way he is at the moment

Great ending to Boston-Philly game.  Superb play drawn up by Doc Rivers.
