I'm actually thinking the opposite. Word of mouth will be horrible.

Gt5 will push the ps3 above the x360 again...

We're already seeing a lot of postivie word of mouth for the device, especially by those that have actually bought one.

Those who already have bought one are xbox/technology fanboys. The most important opinion about Kinect will be from casual gamers.

Wouldn't the core gamers be the hardest on it?  Are you saying that you think casual gamers will be the biggest critics of Kinect and its casual oriented launch lineup?

I wish GT5 would have released to slightly above average sales already!!

But haven't they already spoken in large numbers? Read the reviews of real consumers that have bought and played it:

You get the idea. Consistently good ratings (average better then 85% including a bunch of trolls giving it 1s) with many reviews from casual gamers raving about how much fun the whole family had. Oh, and if you read further you will see so many people talking about how easy it was to use, how intuitive it feels and how responsive it was. I even read a couple of reviews from people that were concerned about lag and space issues from what they had read but when they actually played it they found no such issues.

So where is this bad word of mouth going to come from?
