It doesn't matter. Once you post stuff that is obviously wrong and don't bother to do even a simple check, your credibility comes into question.

If you post information, it's up to you to prove that it's accurate. It's not my job to prove you wrong. To be credible, you should use credible sources. A random foreign blog without a listed author or verifiable source should instantly raise red flags to the veracity of the information. I certainly wouldn't want to put my reputation on that. If you want to rest your credibility on shaky sources, then that is a representation of your character.
