Meh.  I'm alright with this.

The town woke up, and to their great surprise, the mafia hadn't killed anyone, though there was a pile of dust where nen-suer had gone to sleep with "OOPS" written in it. 

The town gathered in the usual place and Kantor, looking very pleased with himself, got ready to make an announcement.  "Everybody listen up!  I am your Queen Beryl, and I have divined the identity of the final obstacle to our success!  It is --"

"Me," dtewi interrupted.  "But I have something to say.  A human named Montesquieu once said, 'a rational army would run away.'  Well, last night I realized that I had no chance of victory here.  As much as is burns me to abandon the fight my friends died in," tears formed in her eyes but Sailor Mercury didn't care, "they wouldn't want me throwing my life away.  So I devoted my energies to escaping this place.  And I found a way! 

"You may have won here, but I will find a way to keep fighting you, and I will never give up until everyone on Earth is safe from you.  And if that means I have to hunt down every last one of you, so much the better.  Mercury Bubbles Blast!" 

When visibility returned, everyone in the Dark Kingdom knew that they had won ... for the moment.

This game was wonderfully balance btw FF. It really is a shame some people can't see the pure fun in playing the game the challenging way anymore.

Well, that was disappointing. I had wanted the pleasure of spearheading the last lynch vote

But yeah, I said I would say whom I was today.

Investigated Prof on the first night. Innocent. That's why I was so determined to not see him as scum. But I had thought that maybe - just maybe - I was insane.

Prof turned out to be pro-town. I was sane.

Investigated MetalGear94 on Night 2. He was the one with the second most votes. I didn't really think he would be scum, but this was after a mass modkilling, and pretty much everyone was dead.

But that turned out to be quite a good choice. When I saw that Khuutra and MG94 were collaborating, I knew they were both innocent. I could take everything Khuutra said as true. That was very important. I could then bandwagon with him, and we could formulate a plan together.

The plan was, of course, to hang noname (SCUM), vigilante kill nen-suer (Town, but whatever) and investigate dtewi (SCUM).

And I investigated dtewi, and he was scum, and I came in here all happy and ready to help us win the game, and dtewi's surrendered.

I would say this has been my best game yet. Not hard, of course. It was competing with a game where I died on Night 1 and a game where I managed to divert attention away from a clear scum because he used the word "protagonist" and also managed to get the pro-town roleblocker lynched. I did also nightkill a scum and a Serial Killer, but the scum was revived and the SK was protected. Incidentally, by MetalGear. Nice symmetry.

So, in light of the circumstances, good game.

None of this would probably had happened if I kept my big mouth shut. I just, wasn't thinking much when I accused heph and Link.:/
