I would imagine that the scum's logic would be that since he could commute, and since he had just revealed himself as a power role, he would commute, and therefore it would be a wasted kill.

The other possibility is, of course, that he's scum. Perhaps he was a little too quick to roleclaim tracker and reveal absolutely nothing about Prof. A vanilla townie (presumably, and to the best of Homer_S's knowledge). Suspicious.

We're getting into very complicated reverse psychology here.

Perhaps they would have thought he didn't commute precisely because he had revealed that he could commute, and would have targeted him then. But that didn't happen. Which proves nothing and generally makes no sense.

FoS dtewi for being so quick to leap in with a vote when there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for Homer's survival. It just assumes rather dim Mafiosi.

He can go into hiding, and protect himself


The problem I have seeing with that is that mafia can't die at night (except that crazy night), and hiding yourself every night while having the ability to track seems to over powered...

In his defense, he could be lying about his hiding powers to tell the mafia get away or soomething. Still it seems far fetched so...
