Forums - Nintendo - Recommendation for a gift to a friend

I have a friend who love horror games(Resident Evil) so I'm thinking of buying one game for him but I cant decide between 3 games

Cursed Mountain

Ju-on: The Grudge

Calling

Which one is a better gift to a Resident Evil fanatic?

First of, he does only have a Wii right? And does he have any of the horror games on the platform already?

If not, isn't Silent Hill: Shattered Memories supposed to be a real good game on the Wii?

Also, I guess he needs a cracked Wii for this, but

Fatal Frame IV - It was only released in Japan however, but

"The game was released in Japan on July 31, 2008, and so far sold around 75.000 copies making it the best sold game of the series in Japan. There are no plans for a western release, despite various claims of fans. However, an unofficial English translation patch has been released"

Also, I am sorry that I can't provide any info on the games you listed, I have never tried them.

And, isn't this Fragile game a little horror-esque as well? "Despite this, the producer of the game insists that Fragile Dreams is not a survival horror, rather it will focus on "human drama"" - Maybe not then

or Dead space for pc.

Luigi's Mansion!

Some points:

He has a Wii so he can play GC and Wii games and I want to give him one of those(no other platforms, please)

Silent Hill is a good option, I will look into it

Luigi Mansion has already be beaten so that's a no

I've only played Silent Hill and I would whole heartedly recommend that.  Cursed Mountain and Fatal Frame IV are supposedly very good as well

If he has 360/PS3, give him Condemned. It is a good game and propably dirt cheap.

I only played Cursed Montain on your list and I would not recommend it, its hardly scary (for me).

Silent Hill is pretty good.

Fatal Frame 4 is definitely one of the best horror games this gen, the language barrier is a little disorientating, and I unfortunately got stuck and haven't been able to finish it yet, but its really good. If your friend's Wii has a older version of firmware you can get the import working by using freeloaders, not sure how they work on newer firmware though.

Dead Space: Extraction, best horror game Iv ever played.
