With the level of hype behind Halo 3, I don't think any reviewer would have had the guts to give it a truly low score.

Without online part, UT3, will be lower than 7/10 ...

    Thing is...UT3 has always been a MP thing, never a single-player campaign or a deep story...Halo has been evolving and focusing to MP.

maybe i'll get this for xmas. looks impressive overall. i hope PS3 owners aren't too busy with cod4 and this game hopefully gets a solid community.

 edit: this will be the first fps i own for ps3 

What sucks for ps3 owners is:

1. They dont have splitscreen.
2. Xbox360 version will have split screen.

 No 4 player split screen deathmatches at home :(?

Wait i just read the UT3 forums again and a Mod named Wartourists said:

Hi guys. We're aware that some of our customers wanted splitscreen for the PS3 version of UT3.

We hear you and will evaluate the feature for possible future updates to UT3.

 Hmmm.. 4 player is a pretty big factor for me... are we talking about co-op story only? Can we at least have 4 man multiplayer on a TV? That would be what I need it for :D
