If the HDTV was not set up in "game mode" this would increase the lag. Some HDTV can have over 100 ms of delay especially without a game mode.  This lag is really noticeable when playing games like Guitar Hero. So it is possible leo-j could be telling the truth since HDTV would add  on top the Kinect processing time if the HDTV was not set in "game mode" or didn't have this mode.

 So it's possible some people will experience more lag than others depending on their HDTV. Of course this has been known to be true for a long time now. HDTV lag applies to all games but motion controls would be more noticeable.

I saw two guys play with Kinect, then bought it, both of them.  I tried for a while, the ball game, and it worked perfectly fine.  I'm not buying it until a game I want is released for it but the lag is barely noticeable from what I played. 

Before I answer the poll. With the first option, do you mean:
