How many Nintendo characters actually qualify? The staple Ninty characters that I can think of don't.

I agree with all your personal commentary, but I have one thing to point out : JOHN MARSTON (and any other character that fits in this observation) doesn't belong to the 2000-2009 decade. RDR is a 2010 game, this is a new a decade. Decades start with the "zero" year, remember? they don't belong, period.

It depends. Some people will argue that a decade would be 2001-2010.


huh? it's not something "up for argument" ... a decade it's what it is. For example, take the 90s...when did the "90's" start, on 91 ? wrong, the 90s started with 1990, DUH. Is it year 2000 part of the 90s now?  was year 1990 part of the 80s now? of course not. Same shit with the "2000s" , and same thing now in the "10s" ....whoever argues against this is just plain wrong.
