Sure, but without marketing, it's just another piece of plastic that people doing holiday shopping will pass by...

so it comes to europe this february? good, i was planning to buy it for my girlfriend, who is quite an artistic person, but i couldn't find it on any release list

I know Amazon means nothing much. I know. I know. That said, so far Udraw keeps rising in Amazon's best selling video games list, right now it is at no.7 .

hehe no, not really. 1 and 2 are COD:BO, no. 3 is Just Dance 2, no. 4 is Alan Wake: LE (for $29.99 which is why it is at this placement currently), no. 5 is GT5 preorders, and no. 6 is AC:Brotherhood preorders.

Then No. 8 is Donkey Kong preorders.

While I don't think it is really any indication of actual sales, it is an indication that some people HAVE heard about Udraw somehow (it is much higher placed now than it was on launch day). Also, it is selling at full price, this is not some Amazon launch special.

I saw one commerical for it but I belive it was for the THQ game.

Then buy her a Wacom tablet instead if she's into digital media art. Even with the limited Photoshop Elements software they ship with, you can do a whole lot more without the resolution limitations of the Wii. Greater levels of pressure sensitivity, better software plalettes, layer options, mask options, etc. etc.

It's a great idea for a peripheral, but not a serious artist's tool.
