As long as I can get MGS, MGS2, MGS3 and FFX,FFX-2 and FFXII plus DQVIII, Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle, Rogue Galaxy a lot more RPGs I am good.

Would love to play these Games in HD remastered form.

BTW back in the early years Developers/Publishers Re-released enhanced ports all the time of popular Games. and the PS1 itself got a lot of enhanced ports like FF anthology and FF origins and Chrono Trigger and lunar silver Star Story's and more.

I'm fine with them since I missed some great games during the ps2 era so the hd versions of them would be cool, like the ico collection.

The remastered releases are great, but there are far too few being made to be considered any sort of replacement plan for software BC.

Of course since software BC is now the only option on the table, which entails writing custom firmware for every title that would play on a PS3, it doesn't take a great deal of thought to realize there is virtually no benefit to the platform relative to the amount of effort such firmware would cost.

It's not like this would spur sales of retail PS2 games, the majority of which aren't even in print or stocked, meaning the beneficiaries are those who own a library of PS2 games and those who buy copies of used PS2 games.

If those games were re-released through the PSN Store, sure; it makes pefect sense.

But until that happens, the remasters are the best compromise. It would just be nice to see more of the top selling/top rated PS2 titles receiving this treatment. Plus, the smoothed out visuals and added extras do make these games worth playing through again, or for the first time for those who missed them.

MGS Collection Remastered and I'll buy those games again for the third time.

missed out on the ps2 and i need these collections so my life is fulfilled. SOTC, GOW, sly...MOAR
also recent ubi collections make me more hopeful for mgs and other 3rd party franchises!!!!!!!
