Pros:

Christopher Lee as Count Dooku. I have a confession to make: Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus is my favorite Sith Lord. It's probably just because it's Christopher lee, but still... the way he owns everyone with his awesome fighting skills (curved hilt blade... awesome). And he takes on Yoda. Tyranus got skillz.

Every scene that Jango Fett is in is awesome. Lucas knew it was what the fans wanted. Heck, the music leading up to the Obi-won/Jango Fett fight is probably the best part in the soundtrack. And the space battle between Obi and Jango is awesome, especially when Jango releases those bomb thingys (I love the sound they make, even if sound doesn't exist in space...).

Yoda/Count Dooku fight. Everyone cheered when Yoda pulled out his lightsaber. I was one of them.

Wanna buy a death stick?

Cons:

Soundtrack seems like an afterthought, as there's lots of recycled stuff in Episode 2.

Awful, awful love sequences. Just awful. Did I mention they were awful?

Hayden Christensen

Hayden Christensen's line delivery (It's not all his fault, not with that ridiculous script...)

C-3PO and R2D2 trying to be funny...

Pretty much any scene without Jango Fett or Count Dooku...

I remember that now, thank you! I remember laughing at that scene with Star Wars fans for many years afterwards!

7/10

The least "Star Wars-y" of all the movies.  It started out great and an awesome finish, but the middle was just weird.  I blame the lack of a meaningful score by John Willams.  The love story was not believable.  Empire Strikes back had a believable romance because of the constant fighting between Han Solo and Leia, it's something relatable.  Here, it seem more like puppy love from Anakin and I just con't seem to get why would Padme fall in love with such an inmature guy.  Something is missing.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

1/10  more of the same Lucas shit, even worse than episode 1

I love the Star Wars universe. I'm probably one of the very few members on this site who saw the first 3 movies when they were in cinemas the first time, e.g. I saw Star Wars in 1978 (3 decades ago it took several months until US movies hit non-English speaking countries), but everything created by George Lucas post-Indy III is pure disappointment.

Ehh 3.5/10.

George Lucas' weakness is dialogue. He really can't write it. In a movie focused on a love story this inability is pretty obvious.

Coolbeans cannot post in the forums. I reproduce his exact review and score:

"As you know, I can't post on forums because of some problem (bug or something else) so I'll give my score to you on here (like I'm doing with darth's SW threads).

Attack of the Clones= 7/10.

Action scenes certainly don't get that great of street cred from others but the likes of the speeder chase to the asteriod field really lit up the stage. The middle was unfortunately bogged down with bad dialogue, which is a shame considering the great music/scenery. Seeing foreshadowing and other elements take place also brought anticipation up. In the end, it's an all-around good movie but the middle portion was "off" in a few ways to me."

0/10. It is without a single redeeming quality. Natalie Portman's boredom was palpable as she was blasting droids in the final "battle", and it nearly matched my own.

It's a prequel the plot makes no sense,no main charter, the rormace bettween anakin and padme is painful.

It all most as painful as episode 1 but it's a bit better.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course.

But 0/10? Really?

All of the battles? The clone army advancing to fight the droids? Yoda fighting Dooku? Obi-Wan fighting Jango Fett? Mace Windu?

Surely, even if this doesn't redeem the movie, it does keep it from being a total catastrophe in the eyes of even the harshest critic, surely?

Same message to Twesterm, except that he didn't pretend to justify it.

You start talking about battles and we're going to start talking about Hoth or the Death Star Trench.

Nobody wants that.
