Forums - Nintendo - So this The Grinder trailer is indeed Wii graphics?

The trailer below came along and interview that IGN had with HVS. It was confirmed it as going multiplat but no details on the HD version.

A few weeks later, it is revealed that The Grinder PS3 and X360 is a top down shooter. The trailer released in the same interview doesn't seem at all like a top down shooter. If you pase at 42 seconds you have a fraction of gameplay I think.

I don't know...

It's either a very good looking Wii game or a rather weak looking HD game.

But since the video is in HD, shouldn't we assume it's the HD version?

next year damn haha

I think its a rather poor looking HD game.

Idk...I have a hard time thinking that those are Wii graphics...

The Wii's output just means its own fram buffer maxes at 480p. Emulators show the games can go higher, and gameplay videos can be higher resolution.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I think they need a publisher first. Did Conduit 1 ads have a Wii logo before Sega picked it up?

Just went through it frame by frame and I can't see anything ther the Wii can't do.

Also, I spoke to HVS back at E3 and the HD versions are still top down while the Wii iteration is as we've always seen the game.  They also expect Sega to pick it up but no rush on it since they are looking at Oct 2011 release and they're funding the project entirely on their own just as they did with the first Conduit.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

looks like something the wii can do but the resolution seems too high.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

looks good. Hopefully Sega doesn't fuck this one up . . .
