I received one as well. I don't have Playstation but I am a GAP member so I think that's why I received a Beta invite. I'm still not sure what it does for me though; playstation rewards that is. I have looked over the link from Playstation.com and haven't figured it out.

you get free stuff just for using your PS3 basically. And how much free stuff you get depends on how much you use your PS3.

I've recieved an invite as well.I think it's from being a GAP member because I don' have PSPLUS and received an invite,also didn't know I was a GAP member since 02/01/2000...such along time.
