metacritic is flawed and a joke as well as IGN, Fable 3 is great,rent it first to see for yourself.

Flawed indeed but it combines a lot of reviewers review on the game (Which are ofcourse subjective). I say it's pretty clear they find Fable 3 a step down.

Im sure its a great game none the less!

Do you seriously expect us to believe that when there's a thread titled "Don't pay attention to reviews! (Regarding fable 3)" in this forum (along with others) that were made before yours? 


Holy crap the dude brings the attention of an article bad mouthing a game and asks other people if the games really like the article says because he is planning on buying it in a week or so and you guys go into sensitive overdrive, defending the game, calling him a troll and doubting his honesty. WTF is wrong with you guys?

Did it ever cross your mind that he never seen the thread about ignoring reviews that your talking about or maybe IGN has been spot on with reviews they have done for games that he played that when they say negitive things about a game he takes there word for it. Isn't this a forum for discussing things related to gaming?????/

The game is severely glitchy. But aside from the missing bread crumb trail that just decides to not appear during certain quests I can forgive them. There are plenty of other good aspects that make it an exceptional game.

Fable 3 has some problems, imho...like the difficulty in something like changing quest being tracked, which is a pain in the arse.  My MAJOR problem with the game is the stupid modification to the gesturing...they removal all your control, so you get whatever the game decides...I hate it!  As for combat, I love the changes to it...sure, it is not too difficult at all, but it is pretty fluid, imho.  The back button isn't really used, so I'm not sure why they didn't utilize that for some quest tracking and inventory management features.  Overall, the game isn't a massive leap over Fable 2, but I loved that game as well, so that's hardly a putdown.

look at the VGCHARTZ reveiw of 9 out of 10, but it does seem as some features have ben taken out and thats a negative for me, so i'd take 10 off and give it an 8

so now i have 7 homes i can not sell or repair, and i keep getting notices about them not paying rent because the condition is 0% ... 2 in bright wall ... all of them in the mercinary camp (well ones a store there but i cant sell it).. and one in mourningwood ... i could sell them or fix them all before i went to bed... damn...

This is the most annoying part of the game.  Spending half an hour repairing the stinking houses gets really old.  Game desperately need a "repair all" button.
