I love my pizza, so I had to go with north america.

Are you kidding me? Pizza is italian.

Shhhh.... don't tell him that, you don't wanna destroy his childhood, do you?

Pizza evloved kind of differently, I'm pretty sure it's made quite differently in Italy.  And also, Germans brought the meat for hamburgers, but served them up as thick steaks, nothing like how hamburgers are today.  Same with hot dogs I think.  My first post has a number of things that justify North America qualifying.

As far as I can tell, you Yanks took all the European dishes and made them larger, more fattening and generally less healthy than their European counterparts. Pizza for instance, generally has a lot more cheese when done American style. I don't think they're significantly different to be able to say Pizza is North American. Even in America, a good quality Pizza is likely to be found in an Italian style Pizzeria.

I'd say that the continent with the most food and the biggest eaters would have to be the one with the best food.

So North America.

Though Europe is quickly catching up in fatties.

Anyways, there's a reason that American food is on every continent and has now become the food of the world. It doesn't matter if it's McDonalds, KFC, or something actually decent; if it's American, chances are you're eating it.

Plus taste is subjective anyways. Anytime I go on the food channel and see a cooking show, I also just say, "Man, that shit looks disgusting. Just give me a hamburger or something. Goddamn."

Elegance doesn't equal good taste.

Where am I going with this? I'm a little drunk.

Look up the history of an actual hamburger.  Pretty sure it was in New York near the ports.  For pizza, I believe the dough is different and perhaps seasoning, not sure.  And the people cooking the pizza in those places aren't necessarily Italian, there are lots of amazing places in NY at least and many people can make it.  N.A. has done a lot of things...

America, because I live there and I can eat food from all of these other countries in the first place. lol

As your voting for America because you can get Pizza/Indian/chinese and all sorts of cuisine's in cities there are SERIOUSLY missing the whole point of this thread....

Its more about where those foods are originating from....those continents "make" it truly

The small town I used to live in, in the UK had mexican/thai/indian/american/middle eastern/spanish/italian restaurants

Similarly the poster above you with a cat in his avatar lives in London where he is bound to get food from almost everywhere....

UK HAS THE BEST CUISINE CONFIRMEDZ?

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I've only eaten American food or American versions of food from other countries.  I guess I'm a little biased.  But since Brazil has the hottest women, I'll say Brazillian food is best.

You eat women? That is just disgusting.

EDIT: Though, looking at South America in this map, you're in the clear, I guess.

The poster should quote Bulgarian artist Yanko Tsetkov for the original version of this map (if he knew about it of course)

Here is the site that has the original image: http://www.brainpickings.org/index.php/2010/09/27/yanko-tsvetkov-mapping-european-stereotypes/

Asia of course, never tasted better food than my own countries food, plus there is Indian, Chinese and Turkish food.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

For me its Asia, without a doubt. I love their use of spices and the way they prepare mundane ingredients in different ways for unique flavors and looks!
