Forums - Microsoft - Xbox gamer passes half-million milestone

Holy Cow!  I am just at 25,000 points.

Anyone here at all close to this guy?  500,000!!!  I would say 'get a life!', but his girlfriend is cute.

And no one has achieved more than Stallion83.

The 27 year-old Tennessee man already made a mark on his favorite hobby when he was officially recognized by Guinness World Records for having the highest Xbox 360 Gamerscore in the world. But where most players would hang up their controllers after such an accomplishment, Stallion83 is just getting started.

His goal? To reach 1 million points. And as of October 25th, he's officially halfway there, cracking the awe-inspiring 500,000 point mark while playing a Wallace and Gromit game -- not exactly the hardest game around, but hey, it counts.

To reach 500,000, Stallion83 has played an absolutely insane 683 games and pretty much mastered most of them.

Same here, I might reach 100k, but I doubt that.

How do you find the time to earn that many gamer points.

I mean literally. There aren't enough hours in the day and you gotta sleep at some point.

Your life has to be dedicated to the Xbox 360 or there are a bunch of people playing on the same account.

Hmm, well truth be told, one could do it.

If I focused on work, some social time, and stickily gaming. I can get 1000-2000 a week. This is a marathon not a sprint. (Movies games are the easiest and most likely take 15 hours to pull off 1000. For me that would be 3 days, if I had the attention span.)

Lets say you were earning 1000 a week. That's 52,000 a year. At that rate it would take 10 years to earn 520K.

These accounts must be earning over 2000 a week to be at 500K. I just doubt a single person is doing it.

I said I (if I wanted too). I think it is possible for this crazy man to do it, if he did have more time on his hands. Maybe he games 7-8 hours a day. Clears 1000 in 2-3 days.

It is possible for two tasks, work, and gaming, but outside of that nothing else.

how many xbox games  with  game score/achievments are there.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Mr Puggsly:

"It really depends on what I am playing and how much I am enjoying a certain game," he said. "If it is a game I really enjoy, I can play it for a long, long stretch of time. However, I do not play non-stop like some people would imagine. I have just stuck with it for almost four years now -- consistency is key. Some days I will play for 8 hours, other days it may be 10 minutes."

Sorry about the different fonts. He appears to a have a girl as well.
