Some new information relating to the 3DS shop cahnnel was released today. Big news for me is the confimartion of demos, which is very nice after the lack of demos for Wii and DS shops.

- Wasn’t detailed at Nintendo’s conference last month due to time constraints
- Visit “racks” corresponding to different themes when you load the shop
- Software that fits the theme can be found on each rack
- When you select a game, you can see details, view movies, download a demo, and see the opinion of other players
- If you choose software details, you can see a description, play status, other information
- Can also directly visit a game’s home page
- Section on the shop where games are listed in order of latest releases and most popular
- Search functionality
- Can cast recommendation votes for games

We'll see, the confirmation that (most) DSiWare is transferable to 3DS, makes me hopefull that they will implement an online structure so the transfer process will be easier in the future.

Agreed. Also Demo's were availible for the DS early on. I remember playing tons of demo's while camping out for my Wii at EBGames. Sure these demo's were bound to Nintendo hotspots but they were still availible. I'm glad to hear Nintendo is implementing them on a larger scale for 3DS.

Also I never bought much DSi ware because I thought most of it was useless. Clocks and all the other crappy apps just didn't do it for me the only one I bought was Mario VS Donkey Kong. I hope for 3DS better DSWare games are created and launched.

 The second biggest selling feature for me is virtual console, 3D is the biggest but I want virtual console second!
