What I don't get is, why is it that Sony hardware seems to be the only hardware sold in these new markets? Is it merely the fact that these are the only consoles available to them or do they just not know the magic of Mario/Halo?

Pretty much. To put it simply the 360 is officially sold in 35 countries, PS3 is closer to 60 going by PSN territories

So I come on VG Chartz today and look at the hub and noticed the sales were in for the week "oh goody" I says. so I look at the list and the first console I always check is PS3, I looked around the middle of the list because that's where it usually is then I get confused...where is it!? Wii beat X360 so it's at the top again oh noes!! PS3 must of gotten last :(

so I look at the bottom of the list....PSP...X360...???...Wii....?????!?!!?....DS.......!?!?!?!?! $%$&^ ZOMGASZ :OOOOOO PS3!!!!!?!?!?!? WTF!!! 240KKKm PS3's been over 200K for the last month! jizzzzzes self, passes out wakes up cries and prayed to the great video game god in the sky.

Yeah pretty much.  Best Halloween present ever.  The undead PS2 wanted another go around too.  Can you say say PS2 almost even with Wii? WTF

Better late to the party than never

Just too funny.   Maybe all of those PS3 fans saying that their console is a really good system and that give it time and it will turn the corner weren't so crazy after all.  I've been saying for awhile now that the PS3 is one big price cut away from never being outsold by the 360 ever again.   I didn't know it was capable of that even without the price cuts. ;)

In all reality,  I think both of the PS3's competitors have really slimmed down in terms of software libraries where as the PS3's lineup just continues to look stacked.  The Move in my eyes works better than the Wii mote and the Kinect looks like a lame duck in this race.  And I also believe the PS2 effect is starting to show up a lot more. 

Personally, I've always believed that the PS3 will surpass the 360 at some point in this generation.  So this isn't all that shocking to me.

Those are dark times indeed. But the light shall win in the end I say!

Move isn't such a slow burner after all, at least not in terms of its effect on PS3 sales. Wow.

Don't go counting your chickens too soon. Kinect has the ability to do for 360 what Move has done for PS3, even moreso. We have to wait and see. But I think if the stock is there Move will have a BIG holiday.
