Edit: wrong thread, sorry!

It seems that Halos should be adjusted down by a lot:

Halo 3 about 5.5 millions in the US. Halo Reach not even in chart (=below 3.5 millions).

That...

That is curious...

Edit: You should make a thead about that actually...

And Halo Reach wont be in the Chart because Reach launched in September.

Hey but that means Halo 3 might be able to pass 10M sales twice in it's lifetime :D

Truly legendary franchise :)

Yes but.

Reach did 3.3M first month.

Halo 3 is probably at 5.7M not counting Rest of America... so 6.8M very possible... Needs to be down by 1M at least in Americas... We have it at 8M right ? so it should be at 6.8M.

Cod Mw2 with 6.2M or so wow what a monster... Beats Halo 3 with not even 1 year of life.. Halo 3 has 3 now...

Plus this proves that MW2 is the best selling game on Americas for Xbox... VGC has Halo 3 yet with 8M... So halo 3 is overtracked by 1 milion or so and Mw2 is on track... 6.2M in U.S and 1.8M Rest of Americas seems accurate since there´s like 2.5M Xbox on Canada and Mexico loves Xbox.

the charts you asked about are about soft and hard in USA UK Japan

So 360 sold 150K when Slim Launched... VGC has 360 at 215K i think.

Ps3 has been taking on 360 since week 38 and VGC has 360 and ps3 almost tied up those weeks.

Now we see where some of these PS3 sales are coming from.  It looks like Move really helped things out alot.

Actually no, you couldn't be more wrong. The Jul-Sep quarter would have been something like week 27-40. Over that period, it looks like 360 sold as much as PS3 or possibly more (based on the Slim bump).

So it makes Sony's claim of shipping 700,000 more PS3 than 360's in Jul-Sep despite recorded sales of about 270,000 less than 360 in (Japan USA) even more completely out of reach.

It's rather sad how you all are focusing on the last three weeks of PS3 ahead (of course) and ignoring that the chart basically on the whole shows PS3 is not dominating in a particularly crushing fashion in Euro hardware sales (software is another matter, but I'll wager 360 piracy plays a large role there)

No.

Ps3 sold more even in 2010 (january-september sales).

Pixels:

2008: ps3->30 xbox->20

2009: ps3->27 xbox->23

2010: ps3->28 xbox->24

40 pixels = 2 millions

So ho much did they in Europe to date ?  24 pixels ? xD

According to Nintendo (that is Gfk/Charttrack/Nielsen):

ps3: ~1.4 millions (first nine months of 2010)

xbox: ~1.2/1.25 millions (first nine months of 2010)

So they are almost identical...

In Japan we have like 1.1M Ps3 and 150K Xbox 360s right ? US we have like 2.4M Ps3 and 3.2M 360.

its almost a tie...

Then here's my question, what does the PS3's YoY situation look like with the adjustments?

Oh god, I never thought of that. The PS3 will actually look good against the 2009 slim release. It won't be beating it, but its YoY losses will be much smaller, which should make the overall YoY gain very healthy again.
