If NSMBWii is on the list, we may as well add Forza 3 to the 360's list, and Uncharted 2 for PS3.

Otherwise, yes GT5 is coming in 2010.

GoW3, HR, etc...

I mean, really. How can SMG2 be added for the Wii, and God of War III or WAKE not be added for PS3 and 360? Those games are as much holiday 2010 titles as SMG2 & NSMBWii.

The list has a bit of a bias. And Move is more than one game.

I think it's based upon what will be/still is selling in significant numbers. SMG2 for example sold almost as much as Sports Champions, and while there are other Move games coming, Sports Champions is the only one selling atm.

Edit: but regardless many of the listed games are not relevant, I agree with that at least.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

@thesource

I think so, why do you ask?  are you eagerly awaiting for it?

Unless of course all of these Move titles get lumped in with "Move" which is on your list. If so, it only gives the appearance of PS3 having little exclusives to boast because you make it look that way by not separating them.

However I would have to assume that they do not all just get lumped together since "Dance Central" isn't lumped in with "Kinect".

What Move games are coming out over Xmas? I'm not knowledgable on Move SW atm. Sports Champions, Sly Copper Collection are all I know.

Also strange that NBA Jam counts as a big title on the HD consoles, which I am sure it is not, but Sly Collection doesn't count, which is a game that will feature Move support and no doubt be aimed towards those Move customers during the holiday season.

Enslaved and castlevania are bigger than NBA jam too

Holy hell, Halo is on the 360 list.

I could have sworn that wasn't just there a few minutes ago. My apologies to The Source for the comment on Reach not being included.

Guys you can say what you want about older PS3 / X360 titles from 2009, but the old stuff I listed for Wii will do millions in Oct-Dec, what you listed will generally top out at 500k or so, if that. Not really relevant - catalogue is meant to be a catch-all for all three systems for stuff that won't do 500k / 1m or more that released before 2009.

Kinect / Move entries are meant to include all games for both as we don't know whats going to break out yet. Dance Central is different because I think it will break out.

Only 2% of the PS3 base is Move compatable a month in - it doesn't look like any software for it will be huge in 2010.

I thought I included Halo?

Anyway, the point of this thread is I don't know that Sony meets its target without one huge exclusive game pushing hw for the holiday weeks. If GT5 releases Dec 10, I just wanted to show that looking at sw you see more big content on Wii and X360, so I think its really vital that GT5 comes ASAP.

He's including titles that will be big holiday sellers. NSMB Wii will be. God of War 3 wont be. Simple as that.

I assume because SMG2/NSMB Wii are outlegging them by a lot...

though then RDR should be added for both PS3 and Xbox 360......yeah its multiplat but he added Fallout in the OP so...

Sure, but on each, SMG2 and NSMBWii aren't going to suddenly push Wii sales any more than God of War III or WAKE will. The problem people have with the list is that it lacks software on both the 360 and PS3, while also adding non-2010 holiday titles for the Wii.

I agree but I believe his mindset behind the wii bit of the list was to list the games that were still showing big legs, like they are still in the top 50  (SMG2/NSMB wii/ Just Dance 1 and 2 and so on....) while GOW3/alan Wake have left the top 50 a while ago......that was what he was looking at while making the list.

But then RDR should be on there too for Ps360

Still lets get back on topic.....GT5 is confirmed for 2010, I don't know why people are questioning this, the delay was only of about 3 days.

The Fight, Sly Collection, DDR Revolution, SingStar Dance, Zumba Fitness and Deadliest Catch. That is only what is coming out in November and does not include games released for Move thus far.

Just think how it will affect the sales of GT5 if it slips until after Christmas.  It will still sell well but it would/will sell massively if it gets out early enough to be a Christmas stocking filler.

I don't see it making Xmas the way things are going. Has it even gone gold yet?
