I'll put this on my Christmas list but I won't be buying it. I already bought the three origional NES games on VC. I'm dissapointed alittle that after all these years their big collection is the exact same collection I owned on the NES. Now if it had Sunshine , Mario64, Super MarioWorld 1 2 and these four classics, then I would gladly purchase it for 59.99$ but I'm not going to spend 30 on games I already own on VC and SNES.

The only thing I want is the sound track and booklet. Other then that this is a pass for me. If I get it for Christmas from a friend or family member meh, if I don't meh. I could really care less either way!

What would be the point, you can get that on VC.

All-Stars version had the unique Luigi sprite. ;_;

I'm curious to see how it sells.   Without updated graphics there's simply no incentive for me to buy this.  It's cheaper to get the games off VC and I don't care about the CD or booklet.

Are the SNES versions of the games on VC?  I thought it was just the originals.

My apologies.   Despite it saying that in the op I never realized it was different.  All the videos promoting it (Nintendo Channel, Mario All-Stars website) show the original NES versions not SNES graphics so the mistake is easy to make.

That makes it slightly more purchase worthy.  If they include an unlimited lives cheat so I can finally finish SMB after 25 years, I'll buy it.

The game let's you save. So you can at least play world 8 as many times as you like, but not worry about turning the game off.

And unless I remember incorrectly, it let's you save the lives you gained as well. But I'll have to re-confirm that. If it is, then you can build up lives up to world 8, and then just save those until you finally beat the game.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

first day buy,for nostalgic purposes. lol
