Nintendo never lets us know a year in advance whats coming out next winter. Infact Microsoft and even Sony rarely tell us a whole year in advance whats coming the next Christmas. Though I must admit Nintendo is running out of big franchises to spear head the holiday 2011 season. My bet is Pikmin3, StarFox or F-Zero or all of the above for next winter.

P.S - Zelda will continue selling well into holiday 2011 and remain a behamoth into 2012 when I expect the next Nintendo console to launch.

Agreed.  People seem to forget that they also originally planned this game for holiday 2010... the "1st half 2011" timeframe already factors in a major delay, they're not going to push it further.

The only way I can see SS pushed to holiday 2011 is if it also gets pushed to Wii 2.  And I doubt that's happening either (though Pikmin 3 and Wii Relax are fair game).

They showed us Metroid Other M twice in E3. Why not Zelda? Again, Zelda is the strongest franchise they have under theris sleeves for Chritsmas, considering that thery are not releasing a new home console until at least 2012.

And they might do Zelda again -- and release it the next month. 

Metroid did not come out at the holidays ... so this is a spurious comment.

And people seem to forget that this game isn't called Gran Turismo.

I don't think we'll see that, the next NSMB will be on 3DS.  I do think we'll see DKCR2 on Wii still though, and maybe even DKCR3 (though that could move to Wii 2).

I think there´s a possibility we´ll see SS in holiday 2011, making it the last 'big' Wii game before the N6 is released...also, if the vitality sensor is still in the plans, I expect it´ll be for the N6, not for the Wii as originally planned.
