Forums - Nintendo - IGN: No hype for ZELDA :(

There is no hype because it doesn't have guns or blood. It should start getting hype after the holidays.

If the live presentation and the trailer had been awesome, the hype would be there. I liked the trailer but it wasn`t the best they could make.
i believe next year Nintendo will start over!

this...

also even i, who will be zelda fan till the day i die, find it almost impossible to be hyped(or even dissapointed) for a game that has very little info and hasnt got any new info in months. all we got was an E3 specific demo build. i still cant wait for this game, but im not jumping off the walls with hype.

oh, and the motion controls look fantastic! cant wait for that either

IMO Lack of hype = lack of information

Nintendo don´t want to make another mounstrous hype game (Twilight Princess) and then fail to full expectations. Really, this games needs a real trailer before the last day of the year. :/

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

There is no hype...because we haven't received new information in 5 months.

We still do not have a release date. Hard to get excited about something you still know nothing about besides a few items and Link's bitchin' running animation.

Very much this. And I'm, glad to find out I'm not the only one who thinks Link's running animation is utter poo.

Also, while I love the art-style and vibrant look, the extremely low-poly environments hurt my eyes. The characters look great though, I just hope that the areas we've seen so far were just some stuff built for the E3 demo, or get an amazing coat of polish before release. The way they looked @ E3, they were hardly up to 3rd party shovelware standards, sweet art-style aside. I just don't understand this, 'cos TP had some absolutely stunning looking vistas.

I'm sure it'll be a marvelous game, though. After all, this is Nintendo, and Zelda - quite probably their most well-regarded series. They won't screw up.

Yes I know that. But I think it's pretty obvious he was being sarcastic. Have you SEEN this animation?

Actually i can't recall it.

Link?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Why is there no worry over the lack of hype for Kid Icarus? Or the Ocarina Remake? Or the new Paper Mario?

Why is just this game required to be hyped up with no info?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
