A Halo: CE remake would make my day. It's my favorite game in the series, rofl.

Rather have 'Halo Trilogy', potentially in 3D, as a launch titles for the 360's successor. 

To fill up a gap...

Their is no 'big' exclusive for X360 the first half year of 2011 so this game could fill up the gap..

ohhh mannn :((( I have a feeling microsoft is going to charge $60 for this and just for halo 1. Halo 2 hd will be another $60 game. Good way to lure in suckers and make money. However if both halo 1 and halo 2 hd remakes are $40 it would be day 1 for me!

A quick release within a year of the previous New Game release. Then a year later _New Game_.

I was thinking of this as well.  They did that with GOW and GOW2 and it worked out for that package.  However, does one dvd have enough space to include two Halo games with multiplayer maps and all?  Of course they could use two dvds, one for each game.

That would be cool... but at the same time they'd need to change some things in the single player missions. Seriously, I've been replaying all the Halo games lately and when I got to Halo:CE I was "facepalming" all the time it's not even funny. Long ass never-ending corridors for 7-8 missions is just too much for me nowadays. I guess it was fun at the time, but it feels so dated. The game didn't age well people (luckily, the first time you encounter the Flood is still the best thing ever though).

(Note that I didn't play co-op, only solo. My first time ever was co-op and I remember that it was really fun, then I did it solo and I remember I enjoyed it as well... I dunno, maybe I rushed the game too much this time?)
