It's interesting to see that I almost never have a handheld/portable game on my backlog, due to the fact that it's always ready to be played and I can always have a place to play them in.

Home consoles are another story, however...

I still haven't even started the following games:

* Halo Reach - Currently playing this, slowing working through the achievements

* Halo ODST - I did a major push, but still less than half way, will come back after reach (I love reach)

* Halo 3, 2, 1 - Yes I plan to replay all 3 and get achievements where they apply.

* Halo Wars - too boring, probably no

* Gears 2 - 1/4 through achievements I think

* Gears 1 - played through campaign mode, have not tried anything else

* Mass Effect 2 - Played through one time

* Mass Effect 1 - Played through one time

PS3

* Fallout: New Vegas - Currently playing

* Star Ocean: The Last Hope - playing through the previous games on PSP and PS2

* MAG - after I finish my Halo bananaza I will come back to this hard core

* FFXIII - Played through the JP version, havn't done the NA version.

* Borderlands - 2% bought it, played a little, got sucked into other games, will give it a go if I ever get bored

* Killzone 2 - 11% Everytime I want to work on this other, better, FPS games pull me away

* Fallout 3 - 27% New Vegas has need salivating to work on these trophies again

* Rock Band 2 - 25% Probably gonna skip this and go for RB3. I need to bring to friends house so we can go through all the full band trophies

* The Beatles: Rock Band - 27% Same as above, need friends that can do the other instruments I don't do.

* Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - 53% Will probably go at it again after beating SW:TFU 2

* Demon's Souls - I probably need to do this within a year before the servers get shut down.

* Final Fantasy II - Got done with FFI a year ago, which I loved, but FFII is a harder game to like

I have a back-log of about 25 nearly unplayed high-quality games which frustrates me, such as Asassins ceed 2, ME 1 &2, Half life 2, 2nd half of Bioshok, Red Dead Redemption, STALKER Clear Sky and Prpyiat, Dead Space, Rome: Total war, Metro2033, Uncharted and more.

And with these new must have games such as Castlevania, Two Worlds II, Arcania, Halo Reach, Fable 3, Civ5, Majin, Fallout N Vegas, Dead Rising2, Gt5, Lionheart, I'm just lagging behind even more.

I guess some people might have a different definition of backlog. I would consider it to be games you own. To include games I might want to get in the future would be pretty insane.

Unopened Borderlands?  Did you purchase it full price when it was released? If so, do you regret buying it for the fact that since you wanted this long you couldve gotten the new Borderlands GOTY Edition that is now out?

My backlog keeps getting bigger as I buy NES and Game Boy games, and I still have current games like MHTri, and Picross 3D to play.
