eww people still eat that thermocol thingy?!
360 still doing great in Americas, holding on well in EMEAA as well. PS3 quite close this week and Wii keeps on falling. Only one Wii game on the worldwide top ten software charts, I don't think that has ever happened before this gen. This holiday season will be exciting but next years stable numbers even more so!

LOL, I was just referring to the bickering aspect.

Or of the arteriosclerotic one, if so you prefer!

Not at current rates, PS3 dropped harder this week than 360. That said MS financials next friday, that could mean adjustments either way.
I constantly wonder how the video game industry can handle all these flops. This week was particularly bad. Castlevania and Enslaved both had pretty terrible week 1 outings.
The biggest flop of the week has not been discussed yet in this thread:
Defjam Rapstar-- this game sold less than 10,000 on both 360 and PS3. Ouch. Too bad because that game actually had a cool concept and half-way decent reviews.
2nd biggest flop of the week- NBA Jam on Wii @ about 20,000 units sold. Either this game wasn't so popular to begin with for the Wii, or people are retalliating against EA for not including online. I automatically tuned this game out once I heard it will be released for 360 w/online modes.
Honorable mention flop was Kingdom Hearts Recoded for DS @ about 95,000 sold in Japan.
The Wii is doing very badly right now, especially if Wii Party isn't making a dent in the West. Metroid: Other M is also performing very sluggishly. If Nintendo's own 1st party offerings aren't selling anymore, the Wii may face a difficult year in 2011. The Wii needs some new blood to re-infuse their game catalog. Hopefully Kirby, Mickey, and Donkey Kong can fill in that gap.
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Last week there was none in the top 10 :P But perhaps this is the first time there's only 1 game there ;)
@kowenicki: Wii was adjusted down, don't know by how much though. It's lowest weeks ever before the adjustments were like 132k or so, now there's two 129k weeks.

Bets with Conegamer:
Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.
