Wii Play will definitely go UP in sales next week.
How many mini game collections does one need for the Wii? Really. They are fun for a short time and then grow old fast.
I really loved Heavenly Sword, the story was nicely told and Andi Serkis did an awesome job with Bohan. So I will definitely get it as soon as I finished my backlog. However, going mulitplatform seems to not automatically transfer into better sales. Heavenly Sword surely got much more attention because it was exclusive.... Enslaved is just one game in the masses. I hope that it will sell enough in the long run.
Castlevania seems to be an interesting reboot. I will surely get it, too. Altough I am not really a friend of reboots. It is alienating your old fanbase in hope of getting the attention of a new one... Thats a slap in the face of the loyal fans... in the long run the basis of success is trust and quality. Come on, Square-Enix... Front Mission Evolved....and then outsourced to a Western Developer....it somehow hurts, because I really liked Front Mission 3 (and you refused to release 4 and 5 in Europe!)
FFXIV...maybe it is so low because people are waiting for the PS3 Version (like me) or they still have something to do in FF XI.

I cannot be bothered looking back but I'm pretty sure most people actually probably expected the gap to not only be bigger but in reverse by now. It really is amazing the 360 has managed to keep the lead so far.

If 360 slim launched along with a price cut it'd be dealing damage roundabout now!
Castlevania and Enslaved came out on the 8th in Europe so thats 1 day sales numbers, lets not panic, i'm sure next weeks numbers will make more sense for those two titles.
I feel like repeating myself here; why do people think Wii Party will move oodles of hardware again?

Anyone know when Nintendo's quarterly report will be released? I'm really beginning to think that even 17.5 million is a bit optimistic. God, it's depressing to see the Wii falling apart so badly. Not a single non-bundled Wii game in the top 10. Hopefully Wii Party will have good legs as others have suggested. |
Maybe they should lower it to 11.5M.

Maybe they should, so when they obviously surpass that, OBVIOUSLY. Fans like yourself can celebrate
